Celebrating 15 Years Together

This month Neil and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary. FIFTEEN YEARS!!! 

(You can get less for murder – Neil jokes )

We are so truly blessed to share this love. Particularly Neil as he has me.

Haha seriously though.

I’ve been reflecting on what I think has contributed to making our partnership so special and asked Neil to do the same. 

For me, I feel like I can be exactly myself and that somehow Neil just seems to love it! No matter how weird, wild or wonderful I am – and I I can be pretty weird, wild and wonderful  Being so enjoyed by another human is my number one favourite thing to feel and I am lucky enough to feel that pretty much all the time!!

Neil said that one thing that’s really important for him is that he gets energy from me. Our relationship is a source of positivity. There’s no drama, no game playing and we both actively support what is best for each other. 

Of course we have our challenges and struggles, every couple does. Sometimes we make mistakes. Sometimes the energy is most definitely not positive. And sometimes we both have our human baggage to deal with. 

But as lame and cliché as it sounds, for the last 15 years love so far has conquered all and I wouldn’t trade a single moment of it.
